Inman Park has a genuinely unique neighborhood culture. While status as a ‘National Historic District’ does help protect the traditional architecture and neigborhood character, Inman Park is a dynamic place to live and enjoy the more simple things. It’s a neighborhood that doesn’t have a defined ‘stereotype’, but does seem to convey a confident idea that people can ‘relax comfortably and be themselves’.

While there is no substitute for the experience of being here, we've put together some information that gives a sense of what makes Inman Park an extraordinary place to live.

Parks & Green Spaces - An essential part of intown living is being able to enjoy the outdoors. With several different parks in the neighborhood - all within walking distance - each park has a different style and unique scenery. Take a walk and see which one suits you.

Restaurants - We’re lucky to have a dozen neighborhood restaurants that cover a wide range of cuisines from classic northern Italian to sushi. Neighborhood veterans like Soto Soto and Fritti are complemented by relative new comers like Rathbun’s, Shuan’s or P’Cheen.

Retail Shops - All the essentials are within close walking distance. The neighborhood coffee shop, Inman Perk on Elizabeth, is a half a block from the dry cleaners, Inman Park Pet Works and nail salon. If you turn the corner in the other direction you’ll easily find Hall’s of Fine Wine shop, an Intown Business Center for UPS & Fed-Ex and even a dentist. For dog owners there is a great grooming/dog wash shop on Edgewood Ave and Waddell “The Clean Dog”.

Art & Creative - Inman Park is home to a wide variety of artists and creative businesses. If you need some spontaneity, the improv shows at Dad’s Garage are always unpredictable and hilarious. For live music The Variety Playhouse showcases an incredible schedule of musical talent. Just around the corner from Crawford Communications commercial production facilities, Don Chamber’s studio on Edgewood offers a look through the lens of one of Atlanta’s most accomplished photographers.

Inman Park Website - The neighborhood web site is a great source for detailed information on Inman Park. The site is straightforward and has relevant contact information for individuals who are involved in the neighborhood issues from planning to The Inman Park Festival.
